THE Magpies come into this game after a lucky 2-0 win over Blackburn Rovers while Villa recovered from a two-goal deficit to draw with QPR at home in midweek. The Toon should see the return of Demba Ba in a strike partnership with Papiss Cisse. In midfielder Ben Arfa, Newcastle have a player with the potential to unlock most Premier League defences. The arrival of Robbie Keane at Villa Park has lifted the performances of Darren Bent and midfielder Stephen Ireland. I expect Newcastle to win this thriller.
CHELSEA 0 MAN UTD 2
CHELSEA face a tall order as they will be taking on Manchester United after an atrocious 1-1 away draw against Swansea in midweek. Alex Ferguson’s men enjoyed a routine win over Stoke to draw level with league leaders Manchester City and should nick this one as well, judging by the way they have been playing. Get ready for a real cracker!
LIVERPOOL 2 SPURS 1
LIVERPOOL head into this game in high spirits after defeating Manchester United in the FA Cup and Wolves in their midweek EPL match. With Andy Carroll finally finding the net (phew! what a relief), the Reds look set to retain their unbeaten record at home. But it won’t be easy as Spurs have been doing exceptionally well, with Gareth Bale in fiery form. It will be a nail-biting affair but I expect the Reds to just edge it.
