KELANTAN to win. They are the best team in Malaysia and have strong attacking players. They even have depth in their reserves. Sime darby FC have done well to make the final but that is as far as they go. Yes, they are on a fairy-tale run, beating three teams from the top flight, but Kelantan pack too much strength and should win hands down.

 

K. DEVAN

KELANTAN to win. Looking at their current form and after two previous failures in the FA Cup final, I can’t see them letting this golden opportunity slip away. Kelantan are a more solid and a well-balanced side compared to Sime Darby FC, who will rely on one individual to be their match winner.

 

AZRAAI KHOR ABDULLAH

(N. Sembilan)

KELANTAN to win. The east coast side have all the ingredients to be the champions. Kelantan have team strength and experience. It should be easy for Kelantan this time.

 

DOLLAH SALLEH

(Pahang)

KELANTAN to win. Everything points to Kelantan winning this one. This could be a lop-sided final with two teams of contrasting strengths. One is a well-established side with depth in quality and the other a relative newcomer to the big stage.

 

ISMAIL IBRAHIM

(Harimua Muda B)

KELANTAN to win. It will be a convincing victory for the favourites – by at least a three-goal margin. It will be tough for Sime Darby FC even if they adopt a defensive strategy.

 

WAN JAMAK WAN HASSAN

(Kedah)

KELANTAN to win. The east coast side have the upper hand in all aspects but, as they say, the ball is round. Sime Darby FC have nothing to lose. Making the final is already a great achievement for the club side and if they win, it will be historic. My prediction is Kelantan to win 2-0.

 

E. ELAVARASAN

(Felda United)

KELANTAN to win. On paper and current form Kelantan are the favourites to take the Cup home for the first time. They have been really consistent and should win 2-0.

YUNUS ALIF

(T-Team)

KELANTAN to win. The Cup will go to the east coast again for sure, unless underdogs Sime Darby FC can pull off a major surprise. The club side have a good striker in Patrick ‘Ronaldinho’ Wleh and they will be relying on him to get the job done.

 

RAZIP ISMAIL

(K. Lumpur)

KELANTAN to win. The strength of the Kelantan team is awesome. On paper, they should win it but never underestimate your opponents, especially in a Cup final. Sime Darby FC will be no pushovers and should give Kelantan a run for their money.

 

V. SUNDRAMOORTHY

(Lions XII)

KELANTAN to win. The Red Warriors are a complete side, they are strong in every department with quality players. Credit must be given to Sime Darby for reaching the final but Kelantan are surely going to win the FA Cup this time.

ONG KIM SWEE

(Harimau Muda)

CUP finals are always tight affairs as both teams have equal chances of winning. So, I predict a tight match between Sime Darby and Kelantan. Sime Darby are obviously the underdogs and I think Kelantan will win it with a tight scoreline of 1-0 or 2-1.
