PETALING JAYA: Former Malaysian defender and football pundit Shebby Singh has been appointed Blackburn’s director of football, UK’s Daily Mail reported Tuesday.
It said one of Shebby’s tasks will be to act as a go-between for the club’s Indian owners Venky’s and Steve Kean, although the manager’s future is uncertain after the club’s relegation from the Barclays Premier League.
Shebby has earned a reputation for his forthright views on the Premier League on television.
