KUALA TERENGGANU: After plying his trade with Terengganu for three years, Joseph Kalang Tie is ready to return to Sarawak and play for his home state.
The Miri lad, who has completed his loan stint, is however willing to don Terengganu colours again if he is given the opportunity to play for the state in the future.
“I love Terengganu and its people, particularly the football supporters,” he told reporters when asked to comment on his next destination.
Kalang, 25, who received many offers from other states said he was treated well by the management, fellow players and the supporters.

“I hope to meet them in the league and Malaysia Cup competition.”
Midfielder Kalang, who began his career in 2006, was among 10 key players released by the Terengganu Football Association on Wednesday.
The others were Mohd Sharbinee Allawee Ramli (goalkeeper), Abdul Shukur Jusoh, Reeshafiq Alwi, Abdul Hadi Yahya (midfielder), Hariri Mohd Safii, Mohd Muslim Ahmad (defender) and Md Ailim Fahmi Kamaruddin (striker).
The two foreign players not given new contracts for next season are Francis Forkey Doe (Liberia) and Erison Da Silva (Brazil). — Bernama
